Grilled olives might be sound strange but green olive grill has its own place in Turkish cuisine. Turkish grilled olives are usually used as a part of breakfast, pizza topping, salad ingredient and appetizer. You can literally taste the combination of grill (natural smoked) and olive flavors at the same time. Product does not include any artificial smoke agents.
To make grilled olives, the seeds of the pre-flavored olives are removed firstly. Then, the water of the olives is drained, and a light pressure is applied with high fire grill wires from the bottom and top. The shape of the grill leaves streaks on the olives and a light barbecue flavor with high heat. After that phase, oily pickled water prepared with garlic and various spices is added. Hence, this unique aromatic taste emerges.
